Equator Pads was started in 2007 by the same webmaster who brought you Planet Pads, Seth Willis Jr.   Seth is an experienced Real Estate Investor and webmaster for many popular sites on the internet. He still considers real estate his primary passion and is the reason he strives to build a network of  real estate related websites.

The primary goal for Equator Pads is to focus on Real Estate in Central  America as well as Real Estate in the Caribbean. After the success of Planet Pads, Seth noticed that certain regions in the world were becoming more and more popular as investors from the states and all over the world were looking for emerging markets outside of their home territory.

Seth says "Investing in real estate worldwide helps to diversify an investors portfolio so that you don't have all your eggs in one geographical basket "

As Central American countries have become more stable over the years,many investors and those looking for second homes and vacation properties have been Investing in Central America Real Estate , especially in countries like Costa Rica , Panama, Guatemala and many others.

With good climates, beautiful scenery and an abundance of activities for people of all ages , " living in the tropics " is a dream that is becoming a reality for many people from all over the world. And so the creation of Equator Pads, a site for Buyers and Sellers to meet and explore the many investment opportunities that abound in these regions we know as the tropics.
